The Line Buffet - Shangri-La Hotel Singapore

I've heard a lot of raves about this place and it has always been one of the buffet restaurants I wanted to check out. Even though the buffet isn't exactly affordable, The Line remains as one of Singapore's favourite destinations for buffet lunch and dinner.

My favorite part has got to be the desserts section! Absolutely diggin' it..

The Line serves International cuisine which featured at 16 kitchens and their bar offers a wide selections of premium wines, juices and alcoholic beverages. Add on $25+ for free flow of beverages.

As well as your local delights such as Prawn Mee, Laksa, Roasted Duck/ Pork rice.

Indian Cuisine

Started off w chilled fresh prawns, mussels, clams, crabs & very fresh oysters where they open e shell right in front of you. Besides the seafood spread, the Japanese counter is the next most popular counter in The Line.

The queue never seem to shortened and I'm impressed by the spread of selections. They sliced the sashimi freshly on the spot as well. Sushi, cha soba, sashimi, tuna sashimi, tempura - you name it.

Very huge selections of greens at the salad bar. Good for a vegetable fix!

From dim sum to the western dishes. They serves Pork Knuckle, Pasta, Pizza etc.

Lychee Martini

What impressed me most about The Line, is the large selections of desserts and cakes. Dessert in a buffet is the most important to me. No doubt, this is one of the best dessert lined up I've ever had.

I must say The Line has pretty impressive array of desserts lined up and it definitely satisfy a sweet tooth person like myself. All of them just look hell delicious and just tasted the way it is - worthy bites such as Lemon Meringue Tart, Creme Brulee & Carrot Cake.

Besides the western pastries and cakes, there are the local kuehs as well. What a spread!

As well as all time favourite, Chocolate fondue. From fruits, warm desserts and a variety of ice creams and toppings to pick from.

The Line is bad for the waistline, they've a very wide selection in their buffet lines for an international buffet. There's definitely plenty of choices for everyone to choose from - from your local dishes to fresh seafood, Japanese delight, dim sum, Indian cuisine, western dishes, local kuehs and very delicate desserts. I can't find any reason not to come back to The Line again.
